Mr. Vanderslice joined Gleacher & Company in 2009 as a Managing Director in the New York office. He has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker as well as corporate industry experience. Prior to joining Gleacher & Company, he was a Managing Director at Marathon Asset Management, a $10 billion money management firm. Prior to Marathon, he was a Managing Director in the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Jefferies and Head of Restructuring at Birch Advisors. Formerly Mr. Vanderslice served as the Chief Financial Officer at Forbes.com and was a Managing Director of the Media Corporate Finance Group at CIBC World Markets. He was also a founding partner of Campell Vanderslice Furman, an investment banking boutique prior to its sale to CIBC. He began his career in the Media Group of The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. Mr. Vanderslice has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and undergraduate degrees from Boston College in Computer Science and Finance.
